The Fog by www.funstore.gr

The Fog is a 3.5ml juice tank and feed system designed to fit eGo style e-cig batteries.

The concept is not dissimilar to the AVS / AFS tanks made for the Golden Greek GGTS, in fact it has been suggested that Imeo, maker of the GG product line was involved in the design of the Fog, although the manufacture and marketing has been done by www.funstore.gr.

As I only possessed one of the required 901 atomisers (that I got in my Screwdriver Mk II starter kit), I decided to order a LR 901 along with the Fog itself, and everything arrived a week later, about a week ago.

The reason I’ve had to wait to record a review of the Fog is that I initially could not get it to work. The printed instructions that arrived in the box, together with funstore.gr video tutorials showed me that I’d done everything right, and after several hours of experimentation it dawned on me that the problem I had was that the supplied LR901 atomiser was not transferring juice to the atomiser coil anywhere quickly enough, and all I could get was a horrible, pungent burnt taste when I tried to use it. Despite drilling a larger air-hole in the atomiser and trying increasingly less viscous liquids, I couldn’t get the Fog to work and eventually put it back in it’s box.

I knew from comments on the UK Vapers forum that others were having better experiences than I was, and was able to determine that Eastmall LR901 atomisers seemed to be working for people, so I ordered some from www.iVapour-elixir.co.uk and they arrived this morning. I hurriedly fitted an Eastmall atomiser, filled it up and gave it another go. From that point onwards, I have understood what all the fuss was about….

Since recording the above video, I have gone on to fill the Fog with much thicker PG/VG e-liquid, and so far it has continued to perform brilliantly.

Juice feeders and tanks seem to be a priority for manufacturers lately, and let’s face it – we need them. Dripping or refilling carts and cartos is deeply impractical for people working or travelling, and a reliable method of charging your e-cig with a significant volume of liquid is the next thing that will be cracked by the designers. With the eGo-T / T-Tank coming to market as we speak, the Fog has set the bar for the others to reach. It should be an interesting few months of new releases coming up!
