Since the EU Health Commission announced its intention to update its Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) in December 2012, and subsequently learning that this would include regulation of electronic cigarettes, I’ve come to realise that I spent the first 45 years in a state of political naivety.
The gentleman in the picture is Dr. Tonio Borg. He’s a Maltese national with a doctorate in law and he became the EU Commissioner for Health and Consumer Policy following the recent resignation of the previous incumbent John Dalli.

So the 27th April elections went off without a hitch despite yours truly being the “technical host” (which in turn was due to the Hifistud being temporarily exiled to Filey)!
Whilst I thought the turnout could have been a bit better and there were some noticeable absentees that had been very outspoken and enthusiastic at the previous gatherings, I thought that those that did make it contributed well to a productive and relatively efficient meeting!
Following on from the inaugural meeting held on 6th April, a further meeting was held on Tuesday 12th April, but was unfortunately curtailed due to technical problems. Therefore the meeting was deferred until the following evening, and held in the video chat-room kindly provided by www.e-cig-reviews.com.

The Boge Revolution is a departure from the usual e-cig design, being neither a tube nor a box. In fact, the Revolution may very well be the first attempt by Chinese manufacturers to design an “electronic smoking machine”, rather than simply take an existing concept and copy / improve it or try and make something that looks like a cigarette.
The video below was taken after about 24 hours of using the Revolution, and now, after a further 48 hours my feelings haven’t changed much at all. I did however fail to mention one thing in the video that deserves more exposure and that is the package labelling.
