Let your voice be heard!
The European Union, together with the World Health Organisation are conducting a consultation on the recreational use of nicotine, with a view to restricting or even banning the supply of e-liquids, amongst other nicotine containing products.
Except cigarettes of course….
Please read the excellent article at Vapers Network for details about how you can have your say, before it’s too late. Kate at Vapers Network has assembled a wealth of information on this subject and it is very worthwhile reading it.
The Electronic Cigarette Industry Trade Association (ECITA) have created a petition to the EU Commission, that all Vapers should sign, and encourage others to sign, if they feel that the proposed control of e-cigarettes is inappropriate whilst traditional cigarettes are exempt.
Read ECITA’s article here, sign the petition here.
If we don’t let them know how we feel, we can have no complaints if and when a ban on e-liquid becomes a reality.
Thank you.
Well done for highlighting this issue. This European review is just a great a danger as the MHRA but so far doesn’t seem to have received the same attention yet.
Incidentally, I wonder how much Malrboro’s one billion donation to the EU will affect the EU ruling?
It makes you wonder doesn’t it James?

Thanks for highlighting this issue.
It appears that our nicotine is too valuable a commodity. The powers that be don’t want to derail the corporate gravy train and apparently we’re not capable of making our own decisions.
