AA Box from Dave’s Devices

Now, I am not the world’s biggest fan of box mods, and generally am far happier with an e-cig or mod that is a) made from metal and b) tubular.

So quite why I entered a give away competition on the UK Vapers forum recently, I can’t really say other than I am generally a materialistic and greedy individual by nature

The give away was run by Dave of Dave’s Devices and the prize, as selected by his son’s cat (?) was the Integrity’s lesser known little brother, cleverly named the AA Box (seriously Dave, you need a name for this little beastie).

The winner was selected by Tiddles on 13th December (which just so happens to be my Birthday) and I won it, and whilst I was obviously really pleased to have won it, I wasn’t if I’m honest, terribly excited about it.

After all, a box mod, is a box mod, is a box mod isn’t it? Well, no it isn’t actually I now know. It turns out that good quality and craftsmanship are clearly visible even in plastic box mods.

So, does the AA Box convert me from a tube to a box user? No, of course not, but this little beauty will have a place in my bag or pocket as a backup e-cig for the foreseeable future I think. It’s compact, tough and very functional – and I am very grateful to Dave (well, his son’s cat) for giving me the chance to try it.
